To celebrate Easter this year, I decided to give my family the silent treatment. Literally. I completely lost my voice after a cold this week and by Saturday evening couldn’t say anything. Regardless, it was a beautiful (if quiet) day and we got to celebrate with all the grandparents. Tucker was so sweet with the Easter egg hunt and collected all of Molly’s eggs for her… he let her half half the ones he found, without prompting. In fact, he left a lot out there at first so that once she figured it out, she could get them herself. The problem wasn’t necessarily that she didn’t figure out the egg hunt; the main issue was that she quickly discovered that a jelly bean was in each egg and once she had one egg in her hot little hands, the importance of everything else seemed to fade.
